Ryan Kairalla has dedicated his legal career to helping independent professionals, entrepreneurs, and organizations reach their full potential. He has represented a wide range of clients in the entertainment and related industries, including musicians, songwriters, producers, promoters, livestreamers, filmmakers, managers, agents, actors, podcasters, radio stations, and entertainment and technology companies.
And Ryan's advocacy for indie creators goes beyond his legal practice. He also writes and speaks frequently about the entertainment industry. His book Break the Business: Declaring Your Independence and Achieving True Success in the Music Industry provides creative professionals with helpful guidance on achieving success on their own terms. Ryan's writing has also been featured in various entertainment industry publications including Hypebot, TuneCore Blog, and the NYU Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. Ryan also hosts the weekly "Break the Business" entertainment industry podcast, livestream, and SiriusXM radio program and has spoken at a number of entertainment industry conferences including NAMM and the Profitable Musician Summit.
